Scenic shot from the staging area looking east.

Damn goggles wont come clean!!!  Note the undersized wife beater I chose to wear under my roost armor, makes me look like a real man don't it?

Scenic shot from the staging area looking NE.

This is the spring.  I'm not scared looking around a corner, I'm doing the PAIN dance.  I just learned the hard way that river rock slides like crazy on granite.  The bike fell over on my ring finger fingernail.  It pinched the skin so hard, it tore open about a half an inch and bled like crazy.  NOTE TO GREENIES:  That is not 101 octane racing fuel mixed 32:1 with two stoke oil leaking into the stream water!  I'm sure that was in there before I got there.

Finger hurts bad... Bruce can we go home?

Nice pic of the spring.  After the fat hurt guy got out of the way.

He likes to call this one "Bruce"

Scenic shot from the top of that hill I mentioned.  You can see the single track in the bottom part of the picture.  Off in the distance you can see Horseshoe Dam rd.

Bruce taking a break at the top of the hill.  That is Kentuck Mtn. in the background.

A shot of some of the single track we was on.

Taylor getting to the top of a gnarly hill.

Bruce taking another break.

Picture of the Verde River south of Horseshoe Dam.

Shot from the mouth of Lime Cove.  You can see the Verde River, and the usual high water mark for the lake!

This shot shows Chalk Mountain in the distance.  When the lake is full, we would be under about 60' of water.  You can see where the shore line usually is in the distance

View of the whole empty lake.  Sad indeed!
