NO DEREK DON'T JUMP!

Ahh, Bruce was able to talk him down.

Small wash crossing on the train tracks.  These track run along side the Gila, flow them, and they will take you to the coke ovens.

HELP WE ARE STRANDED!  It started out as  a three hour tour, the all of a sudden they are stranded on a desert island with no motor cycles.  Be careful the current is real strong and may wash your bike right out from under you.  HEHE!

Shot of the river.

A trail in the river bed. Pretty cool huh?

A shot of the train trestle heading into the tunnel.

Getting ready to head into the tunnel.  When the guys told us we should listen to the tracks before going in we laughed, from the out side you just can't see how this tunnel is that long. Trust me it is.  In the middle there is a bend, so you cant see both exits at the same time.  It is PITCH BLACK in the middle.  VERY SCARY.   Jim is holding the bike so Derek can listen for the train.  We don't know what a train sounds like, but you can never be too careful.
